Product Description
- Kemflex – NBR Foam is a flexible elastomeric nitrile foamed rubber designed specifically to control condensation and prevents energy loss. Its main uses are for insulating pipework for air conditioning, ducting, chilled water lines and refrigerated pipes. They are also used widely in various sealing applications.
- They are available in tubes and roll sheets with or without adhesive backing in a range of thicknesses from 3mm to 12mm.

Typical Applications
With or without adhesive backing, used as thermal insulation, gaskets and seals for various sealing and closure applications which include;
- air conditioning, refrigeration, thermal & acoustic insulation, weather stripping, automotive gaskets and seals, marine constructions (hatches)
- truck cabs, buses, off road vehicles, inspection hatches
- switchboards, body seals and general closure applications
Product Features
- Closed cell and maintains water tight seal at minimum of 25% compression.
- With adhesive backing, flexible foam confirms well on curved and irregular surfaces.
- Good resistance to weathering, UV light and most chemicals.
- Excellent fire & smoke behaviour with ‘Class 0’ and ‘Class 1’ rating under BS476: part 6 & 7, and UL94 approved.
- Excellent resistance to ozone, mildew and fungi.
- Remains flexible at a wide temperature range.
